For anyone looking to go to a great concert, Nancy Otte reached out to let us know how good American Fools Band is. The John Cougar Mellencamp tribute band is playing at the Astra on Feb. 15 and proceeds support Anderson Woods.

Yesterday’s poll was pretty solidly slanted (over 75 percent) towards supporting Representative Shane Lindauer’s bill to keep us on Standard Time. A few folks had other opinions like put us all on Central Time. I guess we will see what happens at the state level.

Also, did you know the Dubois County Community Food Bank provided 15,398 grocery orders to people in need in 2024? Friend of IU just announced the results of its food drive to help the food bank in its mission.

Tomorrow evening, Jasper Mayor Dean Vonderheide will give the State of the City at the Council meeting at 5:30 p.m. You can attend in person or watch it online at this link.?
