Friends of IU hosts 20th annual food drive to support Community Food Bank

Friends of IU and local community members conducted its 20th annual food drive to benefit the Community Food Bank in Jasper.

Working with Holiday Foods and community food bank executive Director Amanda Drew, the organization delivered thousands of dollars worth of food on January 18. Local Boy Scouts Joe and Everett Buehler and Zeb Bartley assisted in loading and unloading the food.

Bartley Chiropractic and Sternberg Automotive Group organized the food drive, and several businesses and medical personnel made donations throughout the community.

In 2024, the food bank provided 15,398 grocery orders to people in need. They greatly appreciate your donations and are always looking for volunteer helpers.
