  1. From Governor Holcomb:
    From in.gov website:
    (until at least May 1st)
“his amended Stay-At-Home Order applies to the entire state of Indiana. Unless you work for an essential business or are doing an essential activity, you must stay home.”

If handing out trees is not essential, why are these people not staying at home? This morning my calendar didn’t say May 1. And Dubois County is still in Indiana as far as I know.

Just my personal opinion, but I think “mother nature” can handle planting trees for the next couple of months.

  2. 1100 trees. How many cases of Corona? Like Jeff said, the Governor said stay home and Jasper’s Park & Rec sponsored this? How stupid!

  3. OMG Jeff no one got out of their cars. Or socialize with anyone. It’s worst being at Walmart because there your actually grabbing/ touching stuff. What’s wrong with grabbing trees to do some outside work at home.

    1. Simple. Walmart is food. Food is essential. Trees are not essential. May 1st is the date at this point.

  4. Jeff, I’m pretty sure that there is people at walmart buying other items besides food that are not essential and you are probably one of them….May 1st is the date..

    1. I like to go to Walmart and try on hats in the children’s section, pretending that the reason they don’t fit is because my brain is so much larger than everyone else’s.
