Three new Covid-19 cases reported

Friday, the health department reported three new positive cases of novel coronavirus (Covid-19).

This brings the total to 1,043 positive cases of Covid-19 in Dubois County residents. Of the 1,043 cases, 887 have reportedly recovered and 19 residents have died.

According to the health department, 8,555 residents have been tested.

  1. Not releashing the names of covid patients in Dubois County is BS. We almost know the exact moment that President Trump caught the virsus ! We know when he get s shot , we know when he gets an IV. We know Melanie Trump has covid. We know that 4 senators got covid and know their names ! We know Kellyanne Conway got covid , we know Chris Christy got covid. When and if I get covid I want my name in paper so all the damn people stay away from me.

    1. Maybe more information (names probably restricted by Med Privacy Act HIPPA) would show that those dying were 80-90+ years old, with 1 or more other health problems; and positives are grouped in certain areas/employments.
      Also: How many Positives have been tested before as Positive; and How many have died with COVID-19 and have NOT been classified as a COV-19 death?? (my 3rd request = “crickets”)

      1. The State site had the information regarding the age groups of the deaths and all had occurred in groups 55 and older. That data is not available on the state site as of today. Positives listed by the health department are not “second” positives. We have been told these are unique cases. In regards to your third question, the CDC recently reported there would likely be deaths from Covid-19 that would not be classified as such because of the flu season.

  2. I think the names of people aren’t really important. But the names of ignorance of people without mask on like I seen most of time now more than ever should be put on. STUPID
