Three individuals arrested for area burglaries

The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department arrested two men and a juvenile in connection with several burglaries in Huntingburg and the surrounding area.

The Sheriff’s Department was investigating several burglaries and vehicle break-ins that occurred on Old Road 64 and County Road 700 South on April 14.  Some of those same homes were hit again on June 14. On June 19, several Huntingburg residences were burglarized and those burglaries were similar to the burglaries the Sheriff’s Department was investigating.

Several persons of interest were named during the investigation and they were located for interviews. The interviews resulted in the arrests for multiple counts of burglary and connected the burglaries in the county and Huntingburg with the same individuals.

According to the police, the investigation is ongoing and the names of those arrested will be released as soon as possible.
