Stellar updates public meeting hosted by Huntingburg Chamber
The Huntingburg Chamber of Commerce will host an informational meeting regarding the city’s Stellar projects on Wednesday, October 12th at 8:30 a.m.
The meeting will be held at the Chamber office on the Second Floor of the Old National Bank building at 327 E. 4th Street in Huntingburg. Representatives from the City of Huntingburg will be available to answer any questions on completed, ongoing and future Stellar Projects happening throughout the City.
Stellar Projects include the 4th Street Water line, Senior Housing, 4th Street Heritage Trail and Market Street Park.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

Most generally, only “the public” of deadbeats, retired folks and a few other exceptions (to include VIPs and the wealthy of course) can attend on a weekday morning. Seems the city has a lot of morning meetings of this type – almost as if they know (hope, prefer) not many can attend. Makes one wonder – although they’ll say it’s a schedule thing, too many evening meetings, etc. Right. That said, theses are better held in the evenings or a late-afternoon, pre-supper time (5:30) when at least the large dayshift industry folks and a majority of others who work daytime hours can better attend. Transparency, openness, service, sacrifice.
