Southwest Ind. Orthopaedics and Spine opens Tuesday in new Memorial Health Center
Jasper – Dr. Brian Blessinger and Dr. Brian Woebkenberg’s offices will begin seeing patients at their new location — Southwest Indiana Orthopaedics and Spine — located at the new Memorial Health Center at 695 West Second Street in Jasper (across from IGA) on Tuesday, January 14.
Dr. Blessinger received his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency at University of Toledo Medical Center in Ohio. He completed an orthopaedic spine fellowship at Ortho Carolina in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Woebkenberg received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. Board certified in orthopedic surgery with a subspecialty in sports medicine, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Woebkenberg joined the Active Medical Staff at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in 2011.
Office hours are Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

I would really like to see a rheumatologist move to the area. I can’t believe that in an area with as many elderly as we have (not forgetting us young folk with arthritis) that there isn’t one.
Perfect response as I head off to Evansville tomorrow to see my rheumatologist tomorrow. Second visit in a 7 day period!
