Southern Indiana Thrill team wins U.S. Girls Fastpitch World Series in Jackson Tennessee

The Southern Indiana Thrill 18U Girls Fastpitch Softball team won the USGF World Series in Jackson Tennesee this weekend.

Team members are Vanessa Kern, Allie Michel, Allison Bounds, Jennifer Jones, Brooke Rust, Julie Todd, Riley Wilson, Haley Miller, Brittany Karpowitz, Sam Beaty and Katy Martin, they are coached by Ron Rust and Ernie Jones, bat girl is Maria Rust.

• Allison Bounds was named Outstanding Pitcher and All World Tournament Team,
• Sam Beaty was named Outstanding Defensive player and All World Tournament Team
• Haley Miller and Allie Michel were named All World Tournament Team
