Sandy Lamar-Brunes, 59
Sandy Lamar-Brunes, 59, of Selvin, died Monday morning, Oct. 12, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville.
She was born March 28, 1956 in Highland Park, Michigan to Everett and Esther (Allison) Lamar.
Sandy was a 1983 graduate of the University of Evansville and a nurse in hospitals all over the country, most recently at St. Mary’s Warrick. She enjoyed all kinds of activities including shooting, motorcycle riding, acting and mentoring. She enjoyed children, theatrical plays, and mentored in Narcotics and Alcohol Anonymous programs.
She was a loving wife, sister and aunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Chuck.
She is survived by her husband, Nick Brunes; siblings. Peggy Petito, Curt Lamar and Rick Lamar; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
She was a charismatic lady, who was loved by many.
Friends may call on Wednesday October 14, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. CST at Fuller Funeral Home.
Funeral Services planned for Wednesday Oct. 14 at 4PM CST at Fuller Funeral Home.
Fuller Funeral Home in Dale is handling the arrangements.
