Sandra S. Sendelweck, 71, of Huntingburg, passed away at 7:00 a.m. CST on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.

Sandra was born in New York City, NY, on October 14, 1946 to Orval Jr. and Ida (Barasoin) Roach.  She married Robert L. Sendelweck on June 27, 1964, in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville.

She retired from 3M Corporation in Indianapolis after 18 years of service. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville and previously attended Living Christ Lutheran Church in Plainfield. She enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, cooking, and babysitting her grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Sendelweck of Huntingburg; three daughters, Shelly Schmitt (Myron) of Ireland, Ind., Cheryl Lampert (Doug) of Jasper and Angela Pfister (Dr. Greg) of Ireland, Ind.; seven grandchildren, Erica Verkamp, Tyler Lampert, Natalie and Nathan Schmitt, Cameron, Nolan, and Jayden Pfister; one great-grandchild, Blakely Verkamp; three sisters, Joan Kalb of Ireland, Christina Heshelman (Kenny) of Loogootee and Lori Letterman of Tennessee; five brothers, Steven Roach (Debbie) of Huntingburg, Danny Roach of Alfordsville, Michael Roach (Connie) of Arkansas, Mark Roach (Martha) of Loogootee and Brad Roach (Dawn) of Bicknell.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Funeral services for Sandra S. Sendelweck will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville, IN, with burial to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, Indiana, and from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. service time at the church on Saturday.
