Ruth A. Kluesner, 65, Jasper

Ruth A. Kluesner, 65, of Jasper, passed away at 9:45 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2019, at her home in Jasper. 

She was born in Jasper on September 3, 1953, to Delmar and Edna (Rees) Mehringer. She married Marty Kluesner on June 23, 1973, in Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper. 

She was a member of Jasper High School Class of 1971. She worked at the Jasper Rubber Company for 38 years. She enjoyed watching IU and the Colts, reading, walking and most importantly of all, watching her grandchildren play sports and spending time with them. She also enjoyed family and friends. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her father Delmar Mehringer. 

She is survived by her husband, Marty; mother, Edna Mehringer of Jasper; two sons, Ryan Kluesner (Arlene) and Scott Kluesner (Ericka), both Ireland; four grandchildren, Meredith, Brayden, Kiptyn and Kortland; one sister, Deb Gunselman (Jim) of Jasper; four brothers, Brian Mehringer (Deb), Dan Mehringer (Trish), Doug Mehringer (Carla), and Ed Mehringer (Kristi), all of Jasper.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2019, in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Shiloh Cemetery in Jasper.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at the Becher – Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Dubois County Humane Society or to St. Joseph Catholic or to the American Cancer Society.
