Rosetta C. Hasenour, 90, Jasper
Rosetta C. Hasenour, 90, of Jasper, passed away at 8:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2020, in Cathedral Health Care Center in Jasper.

Rosetta was born in Celestine, Indiana, on July 5, 1929, to Bernard and Alberta (Heldman) Knies. She married Anthony “Tony” Hasenour on April 23, 1949. He preceded her in death on September 18, 2004.
She was a homemaker and a cook for St. Anthony School and also for various other establishments. She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish – St. Anthony Catholic Church, the St. Anthony American Legion Auxiliary, and a previous member of the Christian Mothers at St. Anthony Catholic Church. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by seven children, Anthony B. Hasenour of Jasper, Lawrence (Vicki) Hasenour of Louisville, Jacinta (Jim) McGookey of Huntingburg, Mark (Roxanna) Hasenour of Jasper, Patrick Hasenour of Paoli, Mary (Lenny) Steffen of Meeker, Colo. and Michelle (Noble) Crecelius of Paoli; one daughter-in-law; 17 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Paul (Carol) Knies, Connie Schroering, Perry (Janie) Knies and Sharon (Jerry) Burger, all of Jasper, Virgil (Frances) Knies and Randy (Janice) Knies, both of Celestine, and Bernie (Diane) Knies of Dubois; two sisters-in-law, Bernice Knies of Dubois and Bonnie Knies of St. Marks.
Preceding her in death besides her husband are one son, Kevin Hasenour; one grandson, Ronald Berger; five brothers, Jerome, Jim, Vernon, Ernest, Dennis, and Albert Knies; three sisters-in-law, Ruth and Cyrilla Knies, and Margaret Hoffman; and four brothers-in-law, Delmar Schroering, and Justin, Maurice, and Vincent Hasenour.
Private funeral services for Rosetta C. Hasenour will be held at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow in St. Anthony Cemetery in St. Anthony, Indiana.

I remember from long ago..our Moms’ talking on the phone for a long time..being friends .. I remember visiting your home when I was young in a couple of your houses ..by the 4-H .@.St.Anthony n Hburg being friends with Michelle..your Mom was always friendly n welcoming..2 me. I’m glad I saw her a couple months ago @ the Nursing Home with Merci giving her love for the last time. I’m happy she enjoyed attention from Merci.. 🙂 I miss her.. I pray especially for Michelle but for all the family..
