Rose L. Dick, 90, Greenwood

Rose L. Dick, 90, of Greenwood, Ind., passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022.

She was born Aug. 17, 1931, in Jasper to Leo & Veronica (Helming) Moeller.

Rose was a former member of Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper, and most recently was a member of Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church in Greenwood, where she was an active member of The Keenagers Club.

She was also active in Anna’s Circle, a widow group that meets at Greenwood Christian Church.

She married Rufus Dick on February 5, 1949. He preceded her in death in 2001.

She was also preceded in death by four siblings, Bernard Moeller, Jerome Moeller, Rita Weber and Sister Mary Marcellus Moeller. One sibling, Dennis Moeller of Jasper, survives.

Rose is also survived by her six children, Alan (Peggy) Dick, Susan (James) Franklin, William (Terri) Dick, Thomas (Brenda) Dick, Kenneth (Teri) Dick, Michael (Marilyn) Dick; 16 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass is at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, 335 South Meridian Street, Greenwood with visitation in the church from 10:00 a.m. to service time. She will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery, Jasper.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to The American Cancer Society or Franciscan Hospice House.
