Ronald R. Neukam, 68, Ireland

Ronald R. Neukam, 68, of Ireland, passed away at 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2017, at home.

Ron was born in Jasper, Indiana,  on February 20, 1949, to Milfred and Selma (Breitweiser) Neukam.  He married Cindy Fuhrman on September 28, 1979, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boone Township, Indiana.

He was a custodian for Shiloh United Methodist Church in Jasper for eight years. He was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church in Jasper and the Haysville Volunteer Department, where he retired after approximately 25 years of service.  He was a member of one of the first First Responder teams in Haysville. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, fixing things and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was also an avid NASCAR fan.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Neukam of Ireland; his mother, Selma Neukam of Jasper; four sons, Dave Neukam (Shelley) of Haysville, Mike Neukam (Candance) of Dawson Springs, Ky., Phillip Neukam of Huntingburg and Alex Neukam of Ireland; three granddaughters, Harlie Zehr and Nichole and Remington Neukam; two grandsons, Landon and Hunter Neukam; two great-grandsons, Keaton and  Hudson Neukam.

Preceding him in death are his father, Milfred Neukam and one grandson, Kai Neukam.

Funeral services for Ronald R. Neukam will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August  18, 2017, at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Emmanuel Hill Cemetery in Dubois, Indiana.  Rev. Dan Sinkhorn and Pastor Paul Alvey will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at Shiloh United Methodist Church on Friday.
