Reality show pilot being filmed in Huntingburg
Huntingburg – A reality show pilot is being filmed in Huntingburg this week.
Lantern Creek Productions, a video production company based in St. Louis, Missouri, is filming scenes for a reality show it plans to pitch to cable television networks.
The basis of the show will be small Midwestern cities and towns that include popular pop-culture items. League Stadium, which was featured in “A League of Their Own” and “Soul of the Game” will be the focus.
“The City of Huntingburg is blessed to have League Stadium in our community,” said Mayor Spinner. “It brings such a significant sense of pride to our residents and we look forward to sharing our treasure.”
Filming will take place at various locations throughout Huntingburg, including the Dubois County Bombers’ home game this Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. General admission tickets will be discounted to $3 in order to encourage people to come to the game and fill the stadium for filming.

I’m sure a reality show will accurately reflect the pride that residents of Huntingburg feel for League Stadium.
