Paul Winston Loveall, 75, Huntingburg

Paul Winston Loveall, 75, Huntingburg, passed away after a long illness, on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at Wellington Parc of Owensboro in Owensboro, Ky.

He was born November 9, 1941, in Jasper, Indiana to Wayne and Mary Catherine (Sturm) Loveall. He was united in marriage to Nancy Jo Kissel of Robards, Kentucky on March 14, 1970, in Evansville.

Paul embarked upon a course of studies at DeVry Electronics School in Chicago, Illinois following his graduation from Jasper High School in 1959. Then, after receiving a calling to become a missionary, Paul attended the Holy Apostles Seminary at Cromwell, Connecticut for a year and a half before deciding to go into the Peace Corps. His volunteer service in the Peace Corps took him to Malaysia, where he taught industrial arts and home economics in secondary schools throughout the country. Once he returned from the Peace Corps, he enlisted in the United States Army for two years. He was a former cabinet room supervisor at Indiana Chair and was an accomplished pianist.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Mark Jason Loveall; and one brother, Lawrence “Larry” Loveall.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Nancy Jo Loveall of Huntingburg; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Vincent (April) Loveall of Jeffersonville and Troy Loveall of New Albany; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Bill (Karen) Loveall of Bloomington and Joe (Mary) Loveall of Milford, Penn.; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Fay (Ed) Gootee of Floyds Knobs and Kathy (Steve) Pease of Valparaiso; five nieces, seven nephews and five great-nieces and -nephews.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. Private graveside interment services will be held at Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, Kentucky. Memorial contributions can be made to the Huntingburg Police Department’s K-9 Unit fund.
