Patricia “Patty” A. Scherle, 83, Jasper

Patricia “Patty” A.  Scherle, 83, of Jasper, passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2020, at home. 

Patty was born in Dubois on June 22, 1936, to Clarence and Marie Grieve. 

She married William Scherle on September 4, 1965, in St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois, Indiana. 

She was a 1954 graduate of Dubois High School. She was a homemaker and member of Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper where she belonged to the Ladies Sodality. She enjoyed sewing and cooking.

She is survived by her husband, William Scherle and one son, Doug Scherle, both of Jasper; two sisters, Janice Beaty of West Baden and Joyce (Charlie) Vollmer of Jasper.

Preceding her in death is one brother, who died in infancy, and one brother-in-law, Jack Beaty. 

Private funeral services will be held at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper with burial to follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
