Patricia Ann Ahrens, age 55, of Jasper, Indiana passed away Sunday (August 11, 2013) at 4:55 p.m. CDT in St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, Indiana.

She was born in Jasper, Indiana on May 25, 1958 to Hubert and Earlene (Newton) Gardner. She married Mitchell Ahrens on September 1, 1991.

Patty Ahrens was working for Jasper Engines and Transmission in Jasper.

She is a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.

Her hobbies were fishing, Crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death is her father, Hubert Gardner and one brother, Daniel Gardner.

Funeral services for Patty Ahrens will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2013 in Shiloh United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Shiloh Cemetery in Jasper. The Rev. Larry VanCamp and Rev. Paul Alvey will officiate.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Thursday (August 15, 2013) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church. Memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church or to the grandchildren’s education fund.
