New Dove Recovery House for Women to host open house Oct. 12
Dove Recovery House for Women will host an open house on October 12 to unveil its new Dubois County home.
A ribbon cutting will take place at 9:00 a.m., followed by an open house until noon. Dove Recovery House, Dubois County, is located at 1480 Knust Street in Jasper.
The community is encouraged to tour the home and learn more about Dove’s model of treatment. Staff members and program graduates will be present to answer questions. Dove offers free, comprehensive recovery programming and treatment services in a residential setting. The Dubois County home can house up to 15 women.
Dove Recovery House, Dubois County was made possible by a partnership between Dubois County Community Foundation, Lilly Endowment Inc., Dove Recovery House for Women and countless local donors, volunteers and civic groups.
Guests are welcome to stop in any time between 9:00 am and noon on the 12th to see the home.
This project was fully funded by charitable donors and support from the community. For questions about the open house, you can contact the Dubois County Community Foundation at (812) 482-5295 or Wendy with Dove Recovery House at (317) 727-1509.

It’s about time this community offers this very important service to women. I worked in the community mental health field for 20 years and there were many times we were unable to place women in safe housing due to limited space.
Thank you for getting this project to the end. So many women will benefit from this service. Jody Clem
