Michael Wayne Morgan, 52

Michael Wayne Morgan, 52, of Birdseye, Indiana, passed away at 10:08 a.m., Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born October 10, 1961 at Stork Memorial Hospital in Huntingburg, Indiana, to Charles L. and Lulabelle (Wright) Morgan. Mike was a cabinet maker, enjoyed motorcycle riding, and was a member of the Bristow United Pentecostal Church. He was preceded in death by his niece, Jessica L. Morgan, who passed away December 17, 2013.

He is survived by his parents, Charles L. and Lulabelle Morgan of Birdseye; his wife, Michelle (maiden name: Betz) Morgan of Birdseye; his daughter, Lily Morgan at home in Birdseye; three stepdaughters, Britney Cooper of Shoals, Kaitlin Cooper of Shoals, and Tarzana Sadler of Jasper; and two brothers, Mark Morgan and Carl Morgan, both of Birdseye.

Funeral services for Michael Morgan will be held at 10:00 a.m., EST, Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Mentor Cemetery near Birdseye, Indiana. Pastor Clarence Enmen will officiate at the services.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2-8 p.m., on Sunday.
