Martha L. Schwartz, 75, Plainfield
Martha L. Schwartz, 75, of Clayton, Ind., died Saturday, September 26, 2020, at her home.
She was born in Huntingburg on February 9, 1945, to Hubert and Mable (Ferguson) Oser.
Martha was a 1963 graduate of Huntingburg High School. She worked as a receptionist for Hendricks Regional Hospital in Danville for over 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and by one son, Erik
Birge.
She is survived by one son, Monty Birge of Avon; one daughter, Megan Schwartz of Land O’ Lakes, Fla.; five grandchildren, Eric and Zachary Birge and Aaralyn, Arys, and Talon Weber.
Funeral services for Martha L. Schwartz will be held at 2:00 p.m. ET Saturday, October 3, 2020, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Father Biju Thomas will officiate the service.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home from noon to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday the day of the service.

I was in school at Huntingburg, IN with Martha and she was so much fun to be around. Always cheerful and happy and my, what a good dancer. She will be missed by many and I hope she had a good and happy life.
Some day, we will have a Huntingburg High School reunion when we meet again.
