Uncle Joe & Aunt Betty,
Thank you for your sympathy wishes. The last 4 years grandma had a wonderful time, from Friday night poker games at mom's, winning at the casino, playing bingo, and skip-bo every day to joking around, laughing, and offering her advice on life to everyone.
The day before she passed away, she was playing cards, laughing, and joking around. She was definately enjoying life! She passed peacefully in her sleep that next morning at 5:15 AM.
There is no doubt in our mind that grandma is in Heaven right now, playing Skip-bo with her friend Beulah, laughing, and having a great time.
She will definately be missed for sure.
Yes, you were right. Grandpa Storace loved his family very much, and we loved him.
I wanted to let everyone know that Oma Martha spent 40 years of her life in Houston, Texas, surrounded by loving family that took excellent care of her. She had 3 loving grandchildren from her daughter, Ede that loved her very much, David, Michael and Eva Marie. She also had two special grandchildren, John and Michele from her caring daughter, Hansie. Michele and her husband, Jarrod, gave her three great-grandchildren that she absolutely adored. She was a very special lady and gave her family many treasured memories.
She also had 4 great-grandchildren from David and wonderful twin boys from Eva Marie. She actually spent 50 years in Houston, arriving in 1957 and being taken away in 2008
