Marion Miller-Brogden, 81, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 8, 2015 in Port St. Lucie, Florida, where she has lived for the last 25 years.

She was a successful interior designer and entrepreneur for over 40 years.

She was born on October 31st of 1933 to her loving parents Myrtle & Henry Miller of Velpen, Indiana, who proceeded her in death.

She grew up in Huntingburg with her seven brothers who she loved very much; Bill (William) the oldest, Clarence, Jack, Mack (Daniel), and Gary all proceeded her in death. Her surviving brothers are Ronald Miller of South Carolina and Roger Miller of Arizona. Two sisters, Dorothy and Peggy died as infants.

Marion raised three children who love her beyond words; Marsha Nichols and her husband Robert, the oldest of Belding, Mich., Robert Braun and his wife Barbara of Romeoville, Ill., and Maleea Braun-Nelsen and her fiancé Troy Woodall of Franklin, Ind. She had a large extended family of three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren with many nieces and nephews.

She was a long time member of the Savanna Worship and Bible Study Group of Port St. Lucie and was lovingly cared for by her best friend and caregiver Cathy Bough.

She will be sorely missed by all, but we look forward to the day when we will be reunited with her in heaven.

Funeral services for Marion Miller-Brogden will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015, at the Spirit Life Assembly of God in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Velpen, Indiana.  Marion’s nephew, Pastor Jan Miller, will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday and also at the Spirit Life Assembly of God from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Saturday.
