Luke A. Love, 55, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at home.
Luke was born in Daviess County, Indiana on April 23, 1960 to Ervin and Rosemary (Carrico) Love.
Luke worked as a retail clerk and a waiter at various establishments in Jasper. He was working towards a college degree in social services. Luke loved animals and enjoyed spending time with his three dogs. He also enjoyed sewing and making custom drapes.
He is survived by seven sisters, Judy Ballard and husband Joe of Cannelburg, Becky Dant of Montgomery, Mary Ann Fish and husband Greg of Cannelburg, Sue Mishler of Ft. Wayne, Joanie Theroff and husband Rick of Washington, Tammy Love of Washington and Lisa Love of Loogootee; four brothers, Ervin “Gabby” Love of Cannelburg, Adrian Love of Dubois, Mark Love and wife Janice of Alfordsville and Neal Love and wife Amanda of Frisco.
Preceding him in death were his parents and three brothers; Simeon Love, Jimmy Love, and Gary Love.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2015) at the Jasper Knights of Columbus.
