Liquid Road Project will have Jasper residents moving early in the morning

The Jasper Street Dept will be applying an asphalt emulsion liquid road coating to several city streets.

This project is scheduled to take two to three weeks to complete. This surface coating is similar to seal coating, but is thicker, more durable and designed to last longer than ordinary seal coating.

This Liquid Road Project is scheduled to begin Wednesday, July 6, barring inclement weather or any other unforeseen events.

Each street will be closed for approximately two days depending on weather and material drying conditions.

Vehicles will not be allowed on these streets during the improvement project. Vehicles will need to be removed from garages and driveways prior to 7:00 a.m on the days of your street project and remain out until the street is reopened.

Residents on each street being improved will be notified a day prior to the beginning of work to their street.
