Letter: Christianity under attack
Christianity is under attack in the United States of America; from praying at school, sporting events, and other public events to the display of Christian symbols like the Ten Commandments, nativity scenes, and clothing that mention God being eliminated from our society.
Some major department stores do not let their employees say “Merry Christmas”; it has become “happy holidays” so no one is offended.
Anti-Christian organizations are always trying to get any reference to God taken out of textbooks. They want to take “In God We Trust” off of our money, “so help me God” taken out of the presidential oath, and “under God” taken out of our Pledge of Allegiance.
Yes, Christianity is under attack.
It has to be under attack so that our form of government, a free Republic can be transformed into a communist style of government and we are getting very close to it.
Communists have warned against Christians since the days of Karl Marx. The communist state fears Christianity. Christianity opposes tyrannical laws of man. Christians know that rights come from God and they obey God’s law.
Christianity sees each person no matter how “insignificant” as a being of infinite value, created in God’s image and worth his Son’s sacrifice. Communist forms of government do not see it that way. Their law must rule, so in order for communists to succeed they must eliminate, suppress, or control Christianity.
As John Adams, the 2nd President of the U.S.A. said “ You have rights antecedent to all earthy governments; Rights that cannot be replaced or restrained by human laws; Rights derived from the GREAT LEGISLATOR OF THE UNIVERSE”.
Is it christianity under attack, or the fact that this country was founded on religious freedom? Is it religious persecution, or seperation of church and state?
Wow. As an Athiest living in Dubois County…I can promise you, it is not Christianity that’s under attack. Separation of church and state my friend… read about it. Your great legislator of the universe isn’t my great legislator of the universe. And we’re both American citizens. Stop being selfish and more importantly…quit whining.
I don’t know why there are so many ignorant people around the world, but even worst here in the United States, pretending they know everything and know nothing; Christianity has been always under attack and as the Bible says there will be a moment when one world govertment will arrise and crhistiany will be complete out, we are on the way there. I just feel so sorry for those people that let themselves be used by satan to carry out his plan, and the worst part is that they claim themselves free living in a free Country when the truth is that they are slaves of Satan. ah and those Athiest around this area in the Dubois County, they better prepare because GOD is REAL, believe or NOT. I just hope when those being used by Satan and those Athiest repent before they die so they won’t go to HELL, I’m not here to judge anybody just creating awareness of whats ahead to come. Not Greg, but really? A slave? That’s very interesting. An all-mighty entity that supposedly created set-in-stone laws about the requirements of getting into heaven or hell, yet already knows the outcome of everything? Say goodbye to free will. Don’t call anyone a “slave”, especially if it’s only because they are outside your perception and beliefs.

Christianity is not under attack but enjoys many privileges it doesn’t deserve under our constitution. Get over your victim mentality and go live your lives and do something useful.

Deep down, Christians know their beliefs are BS. That’s why they are so defensive. That’s why they feel “under attack”. Christianity is rotting from the core, and not a moment too soon, IMO…
Good article! As Christians we know how the story ends. The Holy Spirit gives the Christian perspective the unbelievers do not have. People without Christ are blinded by the “god of this world”. 2 Corinthians 4:4. As confirmed in the Bible, the world is definitely trending away from God and into world communism under Antichrist.
Revelation 13:15-18

Times are about to get very interesting for all of us, but to those without Christ, well, I pity them!
Stay strong in the LORD no matter what you face! Go forward in the name of Jesus! Those whom you can’t share the gospel with, expel from you so that you may keep Christ close! The Bible says that when you are persecuted for your belief, you are lifted up in heaven!
