just read the notice of your loss, my thoughts go back soooo many years to the days when my dad, Vic Schutz would tend bar at Fritchs and mother Louise would wait tables. Lavella always had a beautiful smile and was so friendly. Those were good days with lots of great memories. We will be thinking of you. God Bless. Vic and Betty (Schutz) Roos
Was sorry to read that my very good friend Lavella had passed on. She and I both ‘grew up’ at the Fritch Dutch Lunch, as Albert was my uncle and I went to live with them about the time that Lavella also arrived. I will miss her and those recipes that she used to send when I asked her for them, because she was definitely one who kept that restaurant ‘jumping’. God Bless you Lavella, and Cotton too.
