Kristi Louise Bernardi, 23

Kristi Louise Bernardi, 23, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 at her residence.

She was born April 26, 1991 in Jasper, Indiana, to Dennis Wayne and Melanie Kathleen (Sherman) Bernardi.

Kristi worked as an assistant manager at Papa John’s Pizza. She loved spending time with her kids, riding 4-wheelers, cookouts and being with friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Margaret Sherman; and her paternal grandparents, Pete and Diane Bernardi.

She is survived by her parents, Dennis and Melanie Bernardi of Huntingburg; two children, daughter Ka’Myra Re’nae Jordon and son, Kayson William Bernardi, both at home; two sisters, Cassandra (husband, Randy) Bernardi Hoffman of Huntingburg and Kimberly (fiancé, Ricky Thomas) Bernardi Bath of Huntingburg; her companion, Justin Hubster of Huntingburg; her grandfather, William Sherman, Sr. of Huntingburg; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Kristi Bernardi will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg.  Pastor Gene Marcum will officiate at the funeral.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday.  Memorial contributions may be sent to assist with funeral expenses.
