Kimberly A. Habig, 53

Kimberly A. Habig, age 53 formerly of Jasper passed away Thursday (March 29, 2012) at Baptist Hospital East, Louisville, Kentucky.

She was born in Jasper, Indiana on December 22, 1958 to Hilary C. and LaVerne (Mehringer) Hochgesang.

Kim was a member of Jasper High School Class of 1977, a graduate of Indiana State University and University of Southern Indiana with a Masters degree in Elementary Education.

She taught at Ireland elementary school for several years and also Maupin Elementary School in Louisville, Kentucky.

Surviving:

• One son, Kyle Habig and spouse Megan, Taylorsville, KY

Mother, LaVerne Hochgesang, Jasper, IN

• One sister, Mrs. Phil (Kourtney) Smith, Jasper, IN

Two brothers,

• Kerry Hochgesang and (Martha) Jasper, IN
• Kris Hochgesang , San Diego, CA

Memorial services for Kimberly Habig will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday (April 9, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until the 7:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
