Kerrylynn Marie Mattingly, 72, Petersburg

Kerrylynn Marie Mattingly, 72, passed away Saturday morning, March 23, 2019, at her home in Petersburg.

She was born January 29, 1947, in Houston, Texas, to John and Kerrybell (Biondi) Hobbs. 

Kerrylynn proudly worked at being a homemaker, enjoying cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Albert Eugene Mattingly of Petersburg; son, Albert Earl Mattingly of Petersburg; daughter, Kerry Elizabeth (Scott) Kraynak of Greenville, South Carolina; grandchildren, Trevis Michael Mattingly, Sarah Elizabeth, Matthew Scott, Olivia Grace, Kathryn Julianne and Caroline Anne Kraynak; brother, Robert Hobbs of Conroe, Texas; and stepbrother Roger Joneson of Houston, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Hobbs; and sister, Rosemary McBeth.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 28, 2019, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2019, at the funeral home, with Father Frank Renner officiating and burial to follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Velpen.

Kerrylynn’s family has asked, in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to Walnut Grove Cemetery or Iva Cemetery, for their continued care and support. Memorial donations to the cemeteries may be mailed to Harris Funeral Home, P.O. Box 217, Petersburg IN 47567.
