Juanita Spurlock, 80, Santa Claus
Juanita Spurlock, 80, of Santa Claus, died January 30, 2018, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 13, 1937, in Newburgh to Gobel and Ethel Childress.
She is survived by her children, Keith Spurlock, Anita Peay and Janet Fischer; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary ‘JoJo’ Maurer, Marie Smith and Wayne Childress.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elwood and six brothers and a sister.
Visitation is planned for Saturday, February 3, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. CST at Fuller Funeral Home. Funeral Services is planned for Saturday at 2 p.m. CST at Fuller Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Garden of Memory Cemetery in Gentryville.
Fuller Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

I went to high school with Nita. I always thought she was the most beautiful girl. We were friends for years when we both lived lived in Dale. I have often thought of her since we moved north. Rest in peace, dear friend. My condolences to her family, and thank you Anita for letting Sandy know.
