Jay Barras, age 44, of Jasper, passed away at 8:15p.m., Saturday (July 14, 2012) at home.
He was born April 1, 1968 to Ronald and Evon Barras. He married Terri Raney on June 8, 2001 in Washington, IN.
Jay worked as a machinist for Jasper Rubber Products for many years.
He enjoyed fishing, drawing, playing music, and spending time with family.

There will be no visitation at Becher Kluesner Funeral Homes. Private services will be held at a later date. Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper is in charge of the arrangements.

Barras family, this is Jay's cousin Lori from Michigan. I just found out of Jay's passing. I'm still in shock and I'm so sorry for your loss. I have wonderful and fun memories w/my Barras cousins in Ohio and Michigan. I will keep you all in my prayers and thoughts to help you get through those difficult days.
