Jasper woman arrested on 15 counts including drug and neglect charges

A Jasper resident was charged with 15 counts including neglect of two dependants and dealing methamphetamine, controlled substances and heroin after police executed a search warrant of her apartment today.
Officers from the Jasper Police Department, Huntingburg Police Department and Dubois County Sheriff’s Department searched 31-year-old Carol L. Sizemore’s apartment at 4044 Manor Drive at about 2 p.m. During the search, police say they located 14 Lorazepam (Schedule IV), 15 Buspirone (legend drug), 25 Nalaxone hydrochloride (Schedule III), a bag of marijuana, heroin, several loaded needles, methamphetamine, and several glass pipes commonly used for smoking methamphetamine.
Two juveniles were present in the home. They were turned over to a family member.
Sizemore was charged with Level 3 felony counts of dealing methamphetamine, dealing a controlled substance and dealing heroin, two Level 5 felony counts of neglect of a dependent, Level 6 felony counts of possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, possession of a syringe, dealing a Schedule IV controlled substance, maintaining a common nuisance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a legend drug as well as misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia
Sizemore was booked into the Dubois County Security Center.

Oh no. This is terrible. Everyone please pray for her and that she she finds her way through all of this and comes out of it a better, stronger person and mother. Carol is a good person when she’s not drowning in her addiction. Most addicts are.
Nope. Not buying that. She had CHILDREN in there! “Good person” doesn’t do that, addict or no. Being an addict is no excuse for that.
She wouldn’t have been an addict if the VA didn’t take 3 years to get her physical therapy scheduled after her Honorable discharge from the US Army where she served over 6 years as a Military Police Officer…. so yeah, she is a good person who was screwed over by the Army and the VA.Army for discharging her before fixing her dozen medical injuries she sustained as a Soldier and the VA for dropping the ball like they are so infamous for.
