Jasper police seeking vehicle that crashed into Taco Bell

Jasper police are seeking a car that crashed into the Taco Bell, 3592 Newton St., early Saturday morning.

According to police, an unknown vehicle police believe to be a dark-colored, early model Chevrolet Impala jumped the curb in the Taco Bell parking lot and struck the south side of the building at about 2:20 a.m. The crash caused structural damage to the restaurant but no one was injured.

The vehicle then left the scene heading south on Newton St. and was thought to have a male driver and a female passenger. The female was described as having long hair.

Police do not believe there are heavy damages to the car and any damages that did occur would be concentrated on the front end of the vehicle.
