Jasper mayor orders city flag to half staff in honor of former councilman
Mayor Terry Seitz ordered the City of Jasper flag at City Hall to be lowered to half staff in honor of former Councilman Victor J. Knies, who died Tuesday.
The executive order states the flag will be lowered at sunrise on Thursday, the day of Knies’ visitation, until his entombment on Friday.
