Jasper man charged with child molestation

Jasper — Jasper police arrested Martin Salvador Garcia Dixon, 19, on Friday for allegedly having sex with a 13-year-old girl.

According to authorities, an investigation by the Jasper Police Department and the Indiana Child Protective Services found that Dixon had sex with the girl at least three times at his residence between January 1 and January 31, 2015. Police said Dixon knew the girl was 13 at the time and both parties had consented to the sexual intercourse.

Police charged Dixon with three Level 3 felony counts of child molesting and booked him into the Dubois County Security Center.
