Jasper man arrested for child solicitation
Jasper — Jasper police arrested Anthony J. Temple, 30, of 516 E. 15th St., on a Level 5 felony count of soliciting a child for sex.
Police made the arrest Thursday after an extensive investigation into allegations that Temple had asked a female who he thought was 14 years old to engage in different sexual acts.
Temple allegedly contacted the girl through the internet and then solicited the sexual acts by text messages, chat room dialogues and actual phone conversations.
According to authorities, the investigation is still underway and more charges are expected.
The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department and Dubois County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office assisted in the investigation.
It’s sad. We want to bad things but please do not say it here because it does hurt the kids that see this. Think of them. Please. My family been through this. If we want cuss or say bad things go tell the court people and the judge. . We need get together as adults tell the courts what we all think cause nothing is getting done. They get 6 years and do two. It’s the kids that are hurting rest of there life. You will not understand tell your kids been there.
It’s sad that a man does this to children I know first hand my 2 children and nice was molested by my brother in law one of my daughters and my niece was molested 15 years ago and then my little girl was molested last year by him his trial starts in October of this year in Paoli indiana I hope he gets life he is a sick son of a b****
