  2. Holiday Foods in Jasper will not be beat by anyone. I’ve lived in Jasper, Cincinnati, Lafayette, Chicago, Carmel, Indianapolis, and Evansville. All groceries in Jasper are cheaper than any other place I’ve been. Even if you pay a few bucks more at Holiday Foods, you know you are supporting LOCAL people TOP DOWN. The store is clean and efficient. You do not need to waste money on making it look fancy. That will drive prices up.
    Holiday Foods > IGA > Marsh >Kroger > Walmart > Payless.

  3. Too bad they closed the one in Huntingburg a few years ago. I don’t really recall what that was all about. My son worked there and we shopped there during that time – we liked it and he liked working there. Guess since Wessleman’s then couldn’t compete and also closed afterwards, there just wasn’t a need for three full-service grocery stores in Huntingburg, esp with the low prices, great produce and such at Mor-for-Less.
