  1. These last few months people like me have been told to stay home due to our underlying health conditions.
As Indiana and Dubois County began to open up, it was still a guideline.
At this time what I go out for is limited. In my opinion we’re at risk due to the number of people not wearing masks and the possibility of them being asymptomatic.
Patients are required to wear a mask at Memorial Hospital. Are the doctors and nurses required? In my opinion when they walk in the room without a mask they’re putting our life at risk.

  2. To your first three sentences: Yes, and that’s why you and everyone in your and similar situations/conditions should continually self-assess and respond/act accordingly to the what and however much you’re willing to risk – it’s YOUR choice more than that of “other people” or any government guideline, rule or mandate. You/everyone can best protect yourself/themselves by your/their individual choices. The real facts and risks about this virus are out there if one chooses to hear/read and apply them to their lives, over all the hype and fodder of those from the mainstream media. To your last, if any business or entity is “requiring” – not just recommending – a mask and employees are not (wearing them, etc), speak up/out and call them on it right there and then – plus report it to management if not also to the media.
