Early voting has polls busy

As of 9 a.m. Thursday, 257 people had taken the time to vote early.

Wednesday was the first day early voting opened in Indiana and 237 local voters took advantage of the opportunity to come to the polls that first day. It appears day two would continue the trend.

According to Dubois County Clerk Bridgette Jarboe, so far, the voting has far surpassed the 2012 presidential election’s so far. In that election, 5,986 votes were absentee ballots which include mail-in ballots.
