Dubois County Health Dept. reports 12 new Covid-19 cases
Tuesday, the Dubois County Health Department reported 12 new positive cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
That brings the total to 570 positive cases of COVID-19 in Dubois County residents. Of the 570 cases, 326 have reportedly recovered (they are feeling better and out of isolation). There have been 11 deaths.
As of this morning, 4,582 Dubois County residents have been tested.

As of today, Dubois County still has the *highest* new case rate over the past 7 days in the State of Indiana per capita:

Tipton — 35 / 231
Vanderburgh — 305 / 168
Elkhart – 333 / 161
Wayne – 94 / 143
By comparison, Clark, Floyd and Marion have 120, 116 and 101 new cases per capita over a 7-day period, respectively.
Here’s a thought: How about we spend a little less time right now debating the constitutionality of a mask mandate [during a pandemic] and more time trying to put out the damned fire?
We have had 3 hospitalizations for COVID in the last 60 days. Lets violate the democratic process because this warrants a full on panic!
