Douglas K. Cannon, 63, Loogootee

Douglas K. Cannon, 63, Loogootee, passed away at 2:15 a.m. CST on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.
Douglas was born in Washington, Indiana, on April 1, 1953, to Harold K. and Anna F. (Butcher) Cannon.
He was a 1971 graduate of Loogootee High School. He was a body shop manager for Bob Lueguers Motors in Jasper. He was a member of the Loogootee V.F.W Auxiliary Post #9395, the Loogootee Sons of the American Legion Post #120, and a life member of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting, and watching and attending NASCAR races.
He is survived by two daughters, Amber Snyder and her husband Josh of Indianapolis and Calley Kress and her husband Brent of Jasper; one son, Colt Cannon and his wife Kristin of Noblesville; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Linda Lett and her husband David of Loogootee, Kimberly Williams and her husband Robert of Washington and Cheryl Schneider and her husband Lonnie of Ferdinand; three brothers, Randall L. Cannon of Amarillo, Texas, Don N. Cannon and his wife Nancy of Washington and W. Scott Cannon of Arlington, Vir.
Preceding him in death are his parents.
Private services will be held at a later date.
