Donna K. Braun, 69, Haysville

Donna K. Braun, 69, of Haysville, passed away at 1:37 a.m. Sunday, July 16, 2017, in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born in Jasper, Indiana on March 11, 1948, to Willard and Eloise (Wagner) Harder.
She married Kenneth Braun on July 31, 1965, at Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville. He preceded her in death on December 8, 2013.
Donna was a graduate of Dubois High School and was working at Woopenheimers Restaurant in Haysville. She previously had worked at MasterBrand for many years. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and WELCA of Christ Church. She enjoyed traveling and going to the casinos.
She is survived by three daughters, Corinna Cox (Mike) of Loogootee, Lucinda Grimes (Brandon) of Loogootee and Cassy Foster (Cody) of Otwell; three sons, Norman Braun (Amy) of Petersburg, Kenny Braun (Lacey) of Loogootee and Jeremy Braun (Crystal) of Loogootee; companion, Paul James of Loogootee; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Dorsam (Lowell) of Haysville, Mary Jo Emmens of Hillham and Sharon Kerns and companion Dwayne Roberts of Loogootee.
Preceding her in death besides her husband is one son, Rodney Braun; one brother, Edward Harder; and one sister, Anna Jeanne Hellums.
Funeral services for Donna Braun will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 20, 2017, in Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville with burial to follow in Community Cemetery in Haysville, Indiana. The Rev. Timothy Kraemer will officiate. Visitation is an hour before service at Christ Lutheran in Haysville the day of services for Donna Braun.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church or to a favorite charity.
