Kenneth Craig announces retirement from longtime Huntingburg business

Kenneth W. Craig, CPA, of Craig & Lange, PC, has announced his retirement after 50 years in business.

A 1961 graduate from Huntingburg High School, Ken decided to continue his academic career in accounting at Indiana State University where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree.

Ken first started his accounting career in 1965 with Ernst & Ernst in Louisville, KY.  Two years later, he and his wife, Judy, moved back to Huntingburg, and Ken began to work for Nonte & Company in Jasper. In 1972, he started his own firm, Kenneth W. Craig, CPA.

Belinda Lange, Ken’s daughter, joined him at work in 1998 after graduating from Indiana University.  In 2007, the company became Craig & Lange, PC.

Ken currently resides in Huntingburg with his wife Judy. He has four children, Bill Craig of Holland, Brad Craig of Jasper, Belinda Lange (Jason) and Brian Craig (Devin), both of Huntingburg. Four grandchildren: Samantha and Luke Lange, Everett and Bennett Craig.  Ken’s granddaughter, Samantha, joined the company in May 2021 as a staff accountant after graduating from Indiana University Southeast.

All friends, family, past and current clients are welcome to join the staff at Craig & Lange’s office, 306 E. Fourth Street, Huntingburg, for an open house retirement party in celebration of Ken on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 3-6 p.m.. Light refreshments will be provided.
