County Census hits 79.3 percent response rate; Census workers hit the streets
Dubois County Council Member Becky Beckman has been a champion of local U.S. Census efforts and she wanted to issue some encouragement to Dubois County residents who have completed the 2020 Census.
On Sunday, the county hit a milestone. “We have tied the 2010 Census self-response rate of 79.3 percent,” Beckman stated on the Dubois County Government Facebook Page. “Our next county goal is 80 percent. We presently hold 22nd place in the nation (for response rate).”
Please read below from the U.S. Census Bureau Director. Time is short, and the urgency is now to get to the non-responders.
Enumerators are out in the field gathering group numbers from long term care facilities and other similar institutes. They will collect data from residents until the end of September. They will have proper identification on them and be following proper Covid-19 safety protocol while collecting the data.

The fact that the united states government is not canceling the census for 2020 and will go ahead and spend $30 billion dollars on it, and go door to door and confront people during a deadly pandemic when people are scared, and out of work and out of money just shows how stupid, thoughtless and out of touch the people in government are. But then again the united police state has never respected the private property rights of the working class.
How much tax money is becky beckman getting paid to cheer on this violation of our privacy and threat to our lives? How much tax money are the door to door trespassers being paid? I recall in 2010 when census worker and rapist daniel miller raped two disabled women in their house in washington county indiana after he was sent there by the united states census. If the census wants to give our names and addresses to strangers who will show up at our house and demand our attention at their time of choosing, why don’t the US census show some good faith openness and publish the names and addresses of all the census workers so we can know who they are? Are they hiding something?
And all this dangerous waste of money carried out in a time when the united spy police states of America knows exactly who lives where. This census nonsense is beyond outdated. This is not the 1800s anymore people. In 2020, you cannot turn on your coffee maker in the morning without the government knowing it.
I have an idea, on the next census put a check box so people can vote to keep the census or abolish it, and abide by the majority vote. They wont do that anytime soon because government holds keeping power and control over people in much higher regard than they hold our life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.
Woo Hoo! Lets abolish the wasteful and dangerous unites states census.
