Cassie Lee Turner, 25

Cassie Lee Turner, 25, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 2:22 p.m., Saturday, November 8, 2014 in an auto accident which occurred on Highway 64 one mile west of the Bretzville Junction.
She was born July 11, 1989 in Huntingburg, Indiana, to Greg C. and Pam (Abell) Turner.
She was a former student at Southridge High School and was currently working as a certified nurse’s assistant while attending Vincennes University Jasper Campus. She enjoyed caring for the elderly and it was her dream to graduate with her nursing degree. Cassie enjoyed music and singing; and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her son and being with her family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lloyd and Norma Abell, and Guy Turner.
She is survived by her son, Landon L. King (5 years old) at home; her parents, Greg C. and Pam Turner of Huntingburg; two brothers, Cody Cooper and his significant other, Shannon Stuckey, and Clint Cooper and his significant other, Ashley Sharp, both of Huntingburg; one sister, Callie F. Turner of Huntingburg; her companion, Nikki Enlow of Birdseye; her grandmother, Fay W. Turner of Florida.
A memorial service in celebration of Cassie’s Life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Gary Turner, Cassie’s uncle, will officiate at the service.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 3:00-7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, the day of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
