Brentley Alan Workman, 27, of Birdseye, passed away at 1:53 a.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

He was born January 16, 1988 in Washington, Indiana, to Rebecca Workman and Thomas E. Ball.

Brentley was employed as a maintenance technician at Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari and worked part-time at both Best Chairs and Tony Buechler’s Turkey Farm. He enjoyed fishing, working on motorcycles and cars and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Brentley was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Ball.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel (Englert) Workman of Birdseye; two daughters, Hailey Workman and Lyla Workman, both  at home; his mother, Rebecca Workman of Jasper; his father and stepmother, Thomas E. (Trisha) Ball of Birdseye; two sisters, Cierra Phillips of Shoals and Ashley Ball of Birdseye; one brother and sister-in-law, Darryl (Jill) Workman of Holland; one stepbrother, Brad Bolden of Jasper; and grandparents, George Thomas Ball of Eckerty, Betty Romine of Dubois, David Workman of Petersburg and Harold and Edna Bolden of Birdseye.

Funeral services for Brentley Workman will be held at 1:00 p.m. EDT on Saturday, October 3, 2015, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Eckerty Cemetery in Eckerty. Reverend Albert Madden will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, the day of the funeral.
