Brent A. Kelley, 45, Celestine, passed away at 9:26 a.m. CDT Saturday, May 28, 2016, in St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.
He was born in Jasper, Indiana on May 1, 1971, to Ray and Ida (Aders) Kelley. He married Julie Schepers on October 13, 2012 in the Ireland Historical Church.
Graduate of Northeast Dubois High School Class of 1989 and ITT Technical College in Evansville. Brent worked as a manufacturing engineer at Masterbrand Cabinets, Decora Division in Jasper. He is a member of St. Celestine Catholic Church and the Celestine Community Club. He enjoyed Jeep riding and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Kelley; one son, Jase Kelley; two stepdaughters, Hali Nesbitt and Keira Nesbitt, all at home; mother, Ida Kelley of Huntingburg; brother, Jeff Kelley of Celestine; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death is his father, Ray Kelley.
Funeral services for Brent Kelley will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016, in St. Celestine Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Celestine Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.

Brent and I just met a few short months ago, so we really had limited time to know one another. However, in that short time he earned my respect, not only as a professional engineer, but as a man that held a deep and sincere love for his family.
