Betty H. Schwinghamer, 91, Huntingburg

Betty H. Schwinghamer, 91, of Huntingburg, passed away at 8:52 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand.

She was born March 31, 1927, in Huntingburg, Indiana to Valentine and Mildred (Astrike) Haas.

Betty was formerly employed as a clerk in the medical office of Dr. Bretz. She was active in the Council of Catholic Women while residing in Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Schwinghamer, who passed away in 1990; and by her sister, Ruth Ann Seaton.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Steve (Becky Menke) Schwinghamer of Huntingburg.

Funeral services for Betty Schwinghamer will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg.

Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the service arrangements.  There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
