I am writing to express my extreme concern to the Huntingburg Common Council in regards to the proposed new Dollar General Store. My first question would have to be, why? Why build a Dollar General Store whose entire profits go out of the state? Why build a Dollar General Store when the Tax Revenue will…
To enlighten those who are attempting to brag and take political credit of good economic news, I offer the following numbers. What they show about what really happened during the eight years that Barack Obama was president is sometimes different from what Trump politicians claim. The last day of the Obama Administration fiscal year ended…
We live in a world in trouble and growing chaos, and I don’t need to explain why, because it is in every news source available to you and me. The current toll from massive natural disasters. Americans are taxed into oblivion by our federal government. You try to live your life, in the way you…
A group of protesters carrying swastikas, shields, and guns chanting “Jews Will Not Replace Us” practiced their freedom of speech unencumbered by the Federal Government. In an op-ed for The Washington Post, McCain urged Republicans and Democrats to find real and lasting solutions to the nation’s problems through compromise, pragmatic problem-solving, and respectful dialogue. McCain acknowledged the difficulty of…
America can be well served by a Trump resignation. If I question Trump’s actions, Trump supporters say I just hate him. Hate Trump? Of course not, but I do love my country. I don’t hate. Nazis killed my uncle in World War II. Do I hate Germans? Absolutely not. I have many German friends, as…
